Rick Sordelet

Rick has staged the sword fights for all three versions of The Scarlet Pimpernel . Other credits include Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, all international companies and national tours; The Lion King, Titanic and the national tour, Once Upon a Mattress, Wait Until Dark, and the national tour of Sunset Boulevard, also Disney's Aida in Chicago and Broadway. Off-Broadway: As Bees In Honey Drown, This Is Our Youth, Anadarko, The Primary English Class, Richard II and Bosoms and Neglect. He staged fights for Reefer Madness, The Musical in Los Angeles. He also staged the light sabre battles for the new CD-ROM First Jedi for George Lucas. Other theatrical credits include work at The Public, The Roundabout, MTC, The WPA, Williamstown, The Kennedy Center, Washington Shakespeare Theatre, The Pearl Theatre, Papermill Playhouse and New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, where he is also a board Member. He currently teaches at Yale School of Drama and authored the play Buried Treasure. He is married to actress Kathleen Kelly, with three beautiful children, Kaelan, Christian and Collin.
