Scott's selected theatre credits include Christopher Hampton's Tales from Hollywood (Donmar Warehouse, London) directed by John Crowley, Tom Donaghy's The Beginning of August (Atlantic Theatre Company), directed by Neil Pepe; Neil LaBute's bash, directed by Joe Mantello, for New York, Los Angeles and Almeida Theatre in London; Refuge (Playwrights Horizon); the national tours of Spirit and Godspell (2000 production); Orfeo (Chicago Opera Theatre); Richard III, The Way of the World (Yale Rep); Heartbreak House (Alliance Theatre Company); The Mineola Twins (Roundabout Theatre Company, co-design 1999 Lucille Lortel Award, American Theatre Wing Henry Hewes Award); The Gimmick, Love's Fool (New York Theatre Workshop); Splash Hatch on the E Going Down (New York Stage and Film); Moondrunk (Lincoln Center New Visions 1999). He also designed the sets for Off Broadway's The Bomb-itty of Errors, The Donkey Show (currently running in London), and Boys Don't Wear Lipstick.

Scott's work in television and film includes the design of Spirit - A Journey in Dance, Drum and Song for PBS, bash - latter day plays for Showtime, Illuminata (title sequence-art direction), Living in Oblivion, Postcards from America (art direction), Trees Lounge, and Dottie Gets Spanked (Set Decoration). He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
