Matthew Rego, Michael Rego and Hank Unger are principals of THE ARACA GROUP, an independent film and theatrical production and management company. Araca is a producer on Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre, as well as on two National Tours. Araca's first independent feature film, Aaron Harnick's 30 Days (which premiered at the 1999 Toronto International Film Festival), received it's U.S. premiere in September 2000 in New York City, and continues to play across the U.S. Upcoming projects include Michael O'Malley's Searching for Certainty directed by Peter Askin at the Cleveland Play House in April 2001. Other credits include: Skyscraper by David Auburn (Greenwich House Theatre); The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman (Union Square Theatre); The Wild Party by Andrew Lippa (Manhattan Theatre Club); Love, Janis (Royale George Theatre, Chicago); Over and Over by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joseph Stein (Signature Theatre, Arlington); Street of Dreams (Promenade Theatre); and the European premiere of Grisha Coleman's Hot Mouth in London’s West End.
